LINC Tasmania is an initiative of the Tasmanian Department of Education. It was opened by the former Tasmanian Premier, David Bartlett in 2009 to bring together the services of the State Library of Tasmania, the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office (TAHO), LearnXpress (formerly Adult Education Tasmania) and online access centres (public access internet and computer facilities).
